MIT offers a bachelor of networking, a bachelor of
engineering technology (telecommunications) and a bachelor of

Australian Computer Society (ACS), while the accounting major
in the business degree is accredited by CPA Australia and the

operates on a trimester system, allowing students to fast-track a
three-year degree and finish in two years. The institute also offers
a number of degrees in conjunction with the University of Ballarat
(see separate profile) in areas such as education, hospitality
management and information technology.
Diplomas in business, information technology and
networking provide an alternative pathway into the second year of
MIT’s bachelor degrees, as well as relevant bachelor degrees
awarded by universities around the country.
Student services include a study skills development program,
a mentor program, student activities throughout the year and
counselling support. MIT also provides career counselling and
employment services that provide course and career advice,
assist students to look for work and help students to develop
résumés and work on interview techniques. Campus facilities
include libraries, computer labs, student lounges and prayer

Admissions Centre (VTAC) for Melbourne courses, while Sydney
applicants and international students should apply directly to MIT.
Applicants for MIT’s bachelor degrees must have completed Year

International students must meet English language requirements.
Those who have completed relevant VET diplomas may be able
